The love of Danny's life was the girl's mother, Pam. She was perfect. Anybody less than her is someone Danny can't handle. Since her death, he has gone out on some dates, but none last. Since none are perfect like his wife, the slightest flaw throws him off. He dumps his latest date because one of her earlobes were a bit bigger than the other. I'm laughing just thinking of the delivery. He needs to learn how to be more open-minded. But it comes at a price here.
The girls set their dad up with Stephanie's cute dance teacher, Karen. They have a great lunch, sweet date, but the return to her apartment changes all of it: she's a massive slob. No way she is Danny's type. Danny and messes do not mix. Frankly, anybody in Danny's shoes would freak once seeing her pad. And Danny is one of the cleanest characters ever! Jesse and Joey try to convince him to open up to new things, but Karen is simply not worth it. I would go back to the uneven earlobe girl before Karen if I were a neat-freak like Danny.
The subplot is Michelle hiding things, including what seems to be Jesse's keys. This plot works well.
