This story has gotten a lot of criticism for reusing an entire scene from "The Treasure of C. Errol Madre" as Max and Larabee dress as armored car guards to deliver a top secret book to a bank vault, but despite this, the episode is pretty funny throughout. And at least they picked a funny scene to reuse.
This time KAOS is after a top secret book that has listed the names of all CONTROL's agents. They had been hiding it in a library, but KAOS finds out and tries to get it. This leads to a fight in the library where Max fights an enemy agent while trying not to get in trouble with the librarian. It's an inspired scene.
When Max and Larabee deliver the book to the bank, the Chief and Larabee get locked in a vault with a time controlled lock that only has 24 hours of air (how they come up with the 24 hour figure is unexplained. They just know.). The Chief orders them to get the nation's top safe cracker out of prison to free them. Unfrotunately Max and 99 arrives too late and the safe cracker is executed. So instead they bring along his cell mate, Freddie the Forger (Ned Glass). In the meantime, Larabee continues to drive the Chief crazy and now there's nowhere for the Chief to go. However, he gets his revenge during the episode's fade out.
