After Tom and Barbaras chimney decides to sweep itself all over them and their kitchen, they impose on Jerry and Margo in order to use their bath.
Later that evening Barbara notices a flea on her leg, which soon infests both Tom and the rest of the house, and to make matters worse, the poor unsuspecting Leadbetters have also been infected.
After unsuccessfully trying to contain the infestation, they have no choice but to contact the council in order to that they be fumigated, but this could mean an end to their lifestyle as if it is proved the fleas came from one of their animals, they may be confiscated.
Yet when Mr. Bulstrode, the infestation expert arrives, it is discovered not to come from any of Tom and Barbara's animals but from an unknown canine origin.
So just who's fleas are these?
Special mention to Michael Robbins who shines as Mr. Bulstrode in a joy-to-watch cameo.
