Tim Brooke-Taylor: 'Bout time, too. Where have you been?
Graeme Garden: We've been to the hospital. Sorry, they kept us waiting.
Tim Brooke-Taylor: For three weeks?
Bill Oddie: Yeah, and even then we were lucky, you know. Bloke ahead of us died.
Tim Brooke-Taylor: For a sprained ankle?
Bill Oddie: [indicating the cast on his leg] And, what is more, they put this on the wrong leg! Mmm.
[points at Graeme]
Bill Oddie: Should've been his.

Hospital for Hire
Bill has injured his leg and he waited ages at the hospital to be seen by a doctor. The National Health Service is a mess.
It is not Britain in 2023, it is Britain in 1973. Coincidentally both periods had a government whose colours are blue.
The Goodies always liked a bit of flight of fancy but it has to be noted that Graeme Garden is a doctor.
The Goodies train to be doctors which seems to include drinking copious amounts of booze. Once they qualify, the hospital is dilapidated even though it has just been refurbished.
They go to see the Minister for Health (Harry H Corbett) who is afraid of germs.
Finally the Goodies medicine show has a cure for all elixir. It works and there is no need for hospitals.
A very enjoyable episode although Bill Oddie's song gets irritating. Plenty of fun with Harry H Corbett especially when he brings out Sooty. Wrong Harry!
