Oh goody, The Goodies are back but they are now on ITV. It also meant an earlier time slot as they went to London Weekend Television.
With unemployment in Britain increasing, Tim, Graeme and Bill are looking for work. The only jobs they can find is that of dwarves.
Principal boys are played by ladies in pantomimes. However the dwarves are not convinced that three of their new recruits are vertically challenged.
The silliness has been brought over to ITV. It does seem less zany, more boring and it looks cheap.
Some of the gags are repeated a few times and the writing was below par. Maybe the BBC really did think that the Goodies had gone past their sell by date.
