In one of the shots of the plane in the opening teaser, a propeller can be seen to be feathered and not rotating - which indicates engine trouble of some sort. The malfunction reported by the pilot has nothing to do with engine failure and in the remainder of exterior shots of the plane the propeller spins (as it should).
McGarrett leaves HQ wearing a light blue suit and arrives at the professor's house wearing a dark blue suit.
This episode has a plethora of aircraft errors. The airplane is supposed to be flying to Geneva from a fictional "Asian" country. It would be flying the wrong way to be flying near Hawaii. The aircraft itself is a twin engined Convair turboprop, but is also shown as a piston driven model. Neither aircraft would have the range to fly over about 1,000 miles. The Captain fakes a problem with the "air brakes" by flipping a switch on the radio and then the aircraft is shown with an engine feathered. Finally, the airplane is supposed to be the personal aircraft of an Asian dictator, but has an American registration number.
The airplane is obviously propeller driven, but the soundtrack is of a jet.
Five-O and HPD are guarding Jahkal in a secret hotel suite. Numerous officers are inside the suite but the terrace is unguarded, allowing the thieves to reach the sliding doors leading directly to the suite.
At the beginning of the episode, a Hawaiian radio broadcasts describes Jhakal's plane as a jet. When on-screen however, it is a prop plane.
