Lucy was having trouble with her typewriter. The letter "L" was sticking. Harry tried to fix it. He ended up breaking it. Lucy says "you knocked L out of the typewriter. This is a musical episode. Lots of old songs in it.

Charming and Nostalgic Episode

When Patty Andrews shows up needing two stand-ins for her sisters at a fan club gathering, Lucy volunteers herself and Kim for the job.
This is another typical HERE'S LUCY that exists just to get to the musical performances, but this is above average for this type of episode. The set-up is very nostalgic, as we open with Kim decorating her bedroom walls with movie posters of the 1930s and '40s. In a meta moment, Lucy holds up a poster of Lucille Ball from her starlet days.
Gary Morton plays the emcee and Desi Jr impersonates Bing Crosby in the musical finale, which features Lucy, Lucie and Patty performing a medley of Andrews Sisters' greatest hits.
Not excellent, but a charming episode. Patty wears a very bright wild-patterned tunic in the middle scene - very late Sixties.
