Almost no plot at all. It is Lucy's birthday. The kids and Lucy go to a restaurant. That is pretty much it.

Very Slender Episode

Kim and Craig try to decide what to get their mother for her birthday.
This is a weak entry with a very thin plot - so thin that IMBD is forcing me to type about all these incidental moments just to make the 600-character limit. Kim dances a cute little jig at the beginning when she sings "Happy Birthday" in Lucy's bedroom. Lucy's twisted logic explains why she deserves her coffee and lunch breaks even though she didn't show up for work until 1pm. The kids catch Uncle Harry reading Playboy magazine at the office.
They end up in a Chinese restaurant where Lucy fakes having food poisoning so they can leave without paying the check (Craig forgot his wallet and Lucy plans on sending the money later). It turns out that "Hot Shot Harry" had prepaid the bill so Lucy's sick act was all for nothing.
You can skip this without missing much, although I did enjoy the brief scene where Lucy does a groovy Sixties dance with Craig in the restaurant.
