Harry tasks Lucy with serving a summons to a woman in a department store, and Lucy ends up losing a large bank deposit in the process.
This is a much better episode than the Season 2 LUCY SHOW episode with the same title. Any offering that pits Lucy against a large, pushy woman and features a great character actress is a winner (e.g. Barbara Morrison, or in this case, Reta Shaw). Lucy's insults to Shaw's character are wicked.
Jonathan Hole always played stuffy clerks and he appeared in the LUCY SHOW episode "Lucy Bags a Bargain" (in which Barbara Morrison DID appear) also set in a department store. He is wonderful here and while the mannequin bit doesn't come off as well as it should, when Lucy falls into the rolling trash bin and he keeps stuffing her head in it, it's hilarious and my favorite part of the episode. Harry's interaction with him is great as well ("Bite your TONGUE!").
The garbage chute scene is predictable but still works well enough and the episode's finale back at Lucy's house is very satisfying.
