- TriviaShe already had tickets to escape to Argentina. Toward the end of WWII, when even the Nazis admitted they were losing, thousands of Nazi Party members and German military officers fled Europe to South America. Most went to Argentina, which did not have extradition treaties with anyone.
- GoofsCol. Klink's monocle is on the wrong eye in the fake newspaper. Typically, this indicates that the original negative used to create the picture was flipped during creation of the plates used to print the newspaper. When flipped in this way, viewing the image in a mirror restores the image to the correct orientation - in this case, Klink would have been facing to the left when the picture was taken.
- Quotes
Col. Klink: [Weidler gestures for Klink to sit next to her] Thank you.
Erika Weidler: I do not know myself. I have never done anything like this before. Everything I've ever been taught is wrong. Why does it feel so right?
Col. Klink: Perhaps, uh, it's the chemistry.
Erika Weidler: I won a fight against chemistry.
Col. Klink: One merely surrenders through the inevitable.
Erika Weidler: How frightening. There is just one thing that could spoil it all.
Col. Klink: Nothing can spoil it.
Erika Weidler: No, it is a personal thing, an eccentricity. I've tried, I cannot overcome it.
Col. Klink: What is it?
Erika Weidler: I must see you without your cap on.
Col. Klink: You wouldn't just care to look at my profile?
Erika Weidler: All my life, I've been emotionally crippled by this false, foolish idea of male beauty. Why am I unable to grow up? Take off your cap.
Col. Klink: And your idea concerns hair?
Erika Weidler: Yes, yes. I hate it. Why am I so foolish?
Col. Klink: [Klink takes off his cap] My dear, dear young woman.

Hogan thinks of a far-out scheme where Klink will be the carrier. But it will be a complicated story as Klink is visited by an admirer, who is really Erika, that ends up being supposedly the wife of a German General. The General, played by Carter, challenges Klink to a duel. But instead of facing death, Klink plans to run off with Erika to Argentina.
There are many things wrong with this story. From Klink being caught by the Gestapo to Carter playing a real phony type General- this stretch the viewer's imagination. But there is a scene in the episode that was very well written. When Klink is first visited by Erika (his admirer) there are some very funny lines and gags which compensated for the unbelievable events. When Klink takes off Erika's jacket and he gets a look at her, that was one of the better silent looks we get in any series. Not one of the better plots but the show was definitely funny.
