Larry (Garry Shandling in fine fidgety form) decides to hold a party for Arthur (the always great Rip Torn) and his wife at his house. However, when the rest of Larry's staff get wind of said party, it turns into a much bigger shindig than it was originally supposed to be.
This episode astutely pegs how Larry often keeps folks at arm's length as well as shows in a witty and amusing way how fiercely competitive Larry's staff are with each other. Larry's heated argument with his long-suffering wife Jeannie (a spot-on portrayal by Megan Gallagher) about telling people too much information about their personal lives is absolute gold. Ditto when neighbor Martin Mull shows up to crash the party. Plus Arthur gets hilariously drunk. Really funny stuff.
