The Ranger and Tonto come to a mining community to investigate reports of claim jumping and murder. Dan Peters has a cabin with his father Griff and young son Lenny. Dan has found a rich mine and plans to keep its location secret. But outlaw Mark Slade and his gang capture Dan and want him to reveal the mine location. Lenny goes looking for his dad and the Ranger and Tonto try to find him and free his father. Griff goes for the sheriff, who think the Ranger and Tonto are outlaws. There's nothing like a dumb lawman to complicate matters and make the Ranger and Tonto's job harder. A good episode with great outdoor color photography.
