Where Are Those Drawings Hidden?
hogwrassler9 September 2021
Sam Dexter has designed a new rifle which he hopes will benefit the people of the United States. But European secret agent Baron Von Baden and his henchman Garth want the design drawings for that rifle. Von Baden seriously wounds Sam with a knife and then he and Garth set out for Sam's ranch to find the drawings. The Ranger and Tonto find Sam wounded and set out after the bad guys. Meanwhile, Sam's two daughters, Peg and Bonnie, accompanied by housekeeper Miss Prynne, divide the drawings into three pieces and each conceals it on their person somewhere. They set out on the stagecoach with the Baron and an old broken down confederate sergeant, actually The Ranger in disguise. It's a cat and mouse game. Can The Baron get the ladies to reveal where they hid those drawings?

This is an outstanding episode with lots of suspense and action. Be sure to watch for the exciting climax when Clayton Moore's stuntman jumps from a boulder down onto the top of the moving stagecoach. Then there is an expertly done fistfight on top of the coach with the horses running at full gallop.

Gloria Winters plays Bonnie Dexter. She had just finished playing Babs on the original short-lived TV series, "The Life of Riley," with Jackie Gleason as Riley. In another year or two Gloria would be cast as Penny King on the long running modern day western "Sky King," with Kirby Grant as Sky King.

John Banner is villain Baron Von Baden. Of course, from 1965-1971 he would play Sergeant Schultz on the series, "Hogan's Heroes," and become famous for his catch phrase, "I know nothing."
