"Him Plenty Slippery Character"
hogwrassler19 August 2021
The Ranger and Tonto can't seem to catch outlaw Blackie Kane. He always disappears just as they are about to overtake him. As Tonto aptly observes, "Him one slippery character." When Blackie robs the express office in Muldoon, the sheriff and deputy Jim Tyler give unsuccessful pursuit. Later, Blackie show up at Jim's cabin. It seems that Blackie knows that Jim is wanted in Abilene for murder and he expects Jim to help him hide out. Tonto later follows Blackie's tracks to the cabin. The Ranger can't understand why a deputy would help a notorious outlaw. The brown paper cigarettes that Blackie smokes provides a clue. The Ranger comes up with a plan to find out if Jim is in cahoots with Blackie, but he doesn't know that Blackie has now been joined by the three outlaw Barrett brothers. It will be dangerous for our heroes. Will Jim reveal himself to be crooked, or an honest deputy? An excellent episode with lots of action.
