Mescalero Chief Flying Cloud and his son White Eagle are crossing Miss Aggie Turner's huge ranch to attend a peace conference with government representatives at Fort Carson. Miss Aggie hates all Indians and has her nasty ranch hands shoot or hang any trespassers on her land, especially Indians. The Ranger and Tonto save Flying Cloud and White Eagle from an ambush by Aggie's men. White Eagle gives the Ranger a gold coin in appreciation, calling it "an omen of good fortune." The Ranger and Tonto go and talk to Aggie, but she is full of hatred and bitterness over the Indians killing her husband Ben and six year old son Chip 20 years before. When she learns the Indians are still on her land, she has her men tie up the Ranger and Tonto, and then sends them to kill the Indians. Suddenly, she sees the gold coin given to the Ranger by White Eagle, and the story takes whole new turn. One of the best Lone Ranger episodes with a fine performance by Florence Lake as Aggie.
