Can't believe it's magic
mitchrmp22 May 2014
This was one of the better episodes in my opinion. There's a one-eyed bandit robbing banks and the LR is out to figure out just who's doing it. They come upon the bandit on the road but loose him. They come upon a magician who'd been shot by the bandit...or had he?

An interesting concept. The man owning the bank has two nephews and he's trying to decide who would make the better banker to take over when he dies. The part about the vault was really interesting. pretty ingenious and courage to do what the LR did to make their escape. Even the "who done it" was no surprise - I totally expected it. Still, this was a pretty darn good episode!

Steven Clark vs Steve Clark
marcelleslaughter5 January 2019
In this episode, well-known Western actor, Steven Clark (b 1891 d 1954) is credited as playjng Bob. Steven Clark would have been 56 years old at this airing. The young man playing Bob appears much younger. In the photos on the IMDB page for Steven Clark, there appears a photo of "Steve Clark" with Steven Clark. Steve Clark would have been in his 30s at this airing and is undoubtedly the actor in the role of Bob.

Steven Clark vs Steve Clark

My apologies - the Steve Clark b1924 d2017 that I referenced previously was part of the Clark Brothers, was African-American and is not the "Steve Clark" or unknown actor portraying Bob in this episode.
