At the 11:02 mark, Sheriff Platt says that he grew up in "Elk" Ridge. The town sign, and everyone else, refers to the town as "Elm" Ridge.
The café across the street from the sheriff's station has a sign "Knudsen Cottage Cheese" but in North Carolina it should be "Breakstone Cottage Cheese".
Platt asks Tony where Maggie and Ian are. But Tony told him they were at the Gilpin a few minutes earlier, when Platt arrested him.
Platt says that "Pomeroy" is on the phone. Tony takes the received and says "Max?" However, there are _two_ Pomeroys: Max and his son Dennis. Tony isn't expecting the call, and would have no way of knowing which Pomeroy was calling.
Tony uses a payphone at the café to call the institute. Later as he's driving into town, his car phone works fine but there's no indication of why he didn't use it to call the institute.
