- In order to prevent further murders by a hitman who uses a bow and arrow, Tony partners with a psychic who accurately predicted the first victim's death.
- Linda Casey, Tony's friend who he knows from taking hang gliding classes together, had a vision of a murder. The victim, Brian McNeil, who she did not know, ended up being murdered just as she saw, by bow and arrow. She has known all her life that she had psychic abilities, but she had never had a vision this "big". Why she feels she had to tell Tony and not the police is later that night, she had another vision of her own death happening as she is standing next to a cop. Also in her vision are the words "Wonder View", which they discover is the name of an area campground. There, they meet a suspicious looking man, who seems to want to know all about Tony and Linda, as much as they want to know about him. As Linda continues to see visions of death, the connection between McNeil and a new potential victim, a Walter Moran, becomes known with a clear motive for wanting them dead. However, Tony has to figure out who the mysterious man at the campground is, and what his connection to the dead and potential dead are, all without informing the police about Linda for her own peace of mind.—Huggo
- At night, a younger man, Jerry Purcell, watches a street from his hotel room window and manipulates the traffic light on it with a remote control. A tanker truck comes down the street and Jerry turns the traffic light red. The man's associate, Ross Hazlitt, wearing scuba gear, jumps onto the back of the truck as it continues when the light turns green, then gets into the tank of octane gas.
The truck pulls up to a base and the guard waves the driver through. When the driver parks the truck and goes into a nearby warehouse, Ross climbs out and goes to a physicist in his office. He takes a bow out of a watertight bag and fires an arrow through the window, killing the physicist. Next, Ross shoots an arrow with an exploding tip into a nearby gas tank. It explodes and Ross smiles in satisfaction as staff run out to deal with the flames.
At home, Linda Casey is sitting on her couch and sees the flames in her fireplace. She has a psychic vision of the dead guard and the tank exploding.
Tony is performing at the Castle. After his show, Dominick tells Tony that he has Linda on the phone. Linda and Tony hang glide together in a class, and she asks if he'll be at the next class because there's something she wants to talk to him about. Tony agrees to visit Linda at her beach house the next day.
Ross is in a camper that Jerry is driving, telling a client that they'll put the number 2 target away the next night and he should turn on the TV if he wants to see if they're blowing up the gas tank was successful. Once he hangs up, he says that Jerry's shoulders are tense.
The next day, Linda is hang gliding, sees Tony on the beach, and drops down to meet him.
When Linda comes down to land, there's no one on the beach. But when she touches down near Tony, there are several people in the shot, directly behind Tony. She dismisses calling him as over-emotionalism and says that it was no big thing, but Tony doesn't believe her and asks for more details. Linda takes to Tony to her home and shows him an article about the physicist's death, and how she had a vision of his death. The physicist's name was Brian McNeil, and he was murdered exactly as she saw it. She explains that she's had psychic visions all of her life, and it comes in cycles and is mostly about little things. Linda admits that she hadn't gone to the police because she figures they wouldn't believe her, and says that the visions began again after she called Tony. She saw her own death, standing near a cop. Linda also saw a sign, "Wonder View".
Ross and Jerry have parked their camper at Wonder View Campground, and Ross and Jerry prepare to shoot a trail biker. They both have bows, and Ross tells Jerry to take his time and get it right. Jerry takes the show but misses. Ross tells him not to sweat it, then shoot and kills the rider. Jerry apologizes for flubbing the shot, and Ross assures him that it takes years to overcome the social conditioning.
Tony and Linda find Wonder View and Tony performs a trick for a family camped there. The mother, Shirl, points out a camper that pulled in recently, She confirms that she and her husband Artie didn't see any kids. Once the family drive off, Tony and Linda go over to Ross and Jerry's camper and knock at the door. Jerry is in the woods nearby, training his bow on them, and Linda tells Tony that she has a strange feeling. Ross comes around the back of the camper to ask if he can help them, and Tony claims that they're looking for some friends who were supposed to be camping there.
Ross points out that they were looking in the windows, and asks if there's a message he can deliver if their friends show up. He asks where he can tell the family where they're staying, and Tony claims that they're just passing through but will meet them in Ventura. Tony leaves without giving his name, taking Linda with him. Once they drive off, Jerry comes out of the woods and Jerry tells him to get rid of the camper and replace it with something else practical.
Tony takes Linda to his penthouse. After she lies down for a nap, Dominick comes up with a pack of cards for Tony, and says that McNeil was a respected physicist with no enemies. The owner tries to do the card sailing that Tony showed him, but the card adheres to a nearby metal painting frame and Tony explains that the metal card is magnetized. Tony points out that a bow is the perfect murder weapon because it's silent, lethal, and there's no way to trace it
Linda has a dream-vision of another man, Walter Moran, going to Westfield Luxury Towers. She hears a rattling sound, and sees an elevator exploding. Linda jerks awake and tells Tony that another murder is going to happen. She describes Moran and mentions the apartment sign.
At Westfield Towers, Ross goes to the parking garage and takes out a crossbow. Jerry lock picks the penthouse elevator and opens the door, and he and Ross take the elevator up and Jerry prepares an explosive crossbow bolt and sets a timed trigger on it. The younger man then opens the roof hatch and Ross shoots the explosive bolt into the elevator car above. Jerry closes the hatch and draws the bolts, causing a rattling noise. One of the catches sticks, and Ross sends him to the truck with the crossbow while he jimmies the catch into place.
Tony pulls into the parking garage and walks over to the penthouse elevator. It's locked and Tony goes to the regular elevator next to it. Ross comes out, recognizes Tony from earlier, punches him in the stomach, and gets into the truck with Jerry. They drive off and try to run over Tony, who grabs an overhead pipe and swings himself out of the way. Tony drops down and grabs onto the back, and loses his grip as they hit a speed bump on the way out.
Tony goes inside and confirms that Moran owns the penthouse, and Moran's description matches the man that Linda saw in her vision. Moran comes in and the attendant points him out, and Tony explains that he had an "altercation" with someone in Moran's private elevator. Moran notes that Tony doesn't well and takes him up to his penthouse in the private elevator, and as they go up Moran says that he has no idea who would want him dead. Tony hears the rattling of the jimmied catch and realizes that it's the same noise Linda heard in her vision. He opens the hatch and as the elevator ascends, it reaches the top and the bolt comes down through the hatch.
Later, Lt. Ed Gold comes by and has his men remove the bomb to a safe distance before detonating it. Tony calls Linda and tells her that Moran is safe, and says that he's known Gold for years and the police detective will be discrete about Linda's visions. She doesn't believe it and makes Tony promise not to tell Gold anything about her. Tony remembers that Moran was on the jury of an alleged kidnapper, Charles Riscardo, but was executed and the real kidnapper was eventually identified. Gold figures that the kidnapper's brother John wants revenge, and there's an APB out for him. John doesn't looks like Ross, and Gold suggests that John hired a hitman.
Gold assures Moran that he'll have around-the-clock protection along with the other jurors. Once he leaves, Moran tells Tony that he was the holdout juror and hung the jury for almost a week. He admits that he gave into pressure, and there were three jurors that pressured the rest into finding Riscardo guilty. Gold comes back with Sgt. Pike and explains that Pike will protect Moran, and Tony tells Gold that his sources of information have to remain secret. Gold warns him that he can only give him 48 hours, and Tony gives Moran his card if Moran wants to call him.
Once Tony and Gold leave, Ross calls and addresses Moran by name. Moran says that their agreement was that Ross would kill him last, so that Moran could see the three "fanatic" jurors die last. Ross says that he was just trying to save "highway time". The hitman asks who Tony is, and Moran insists that he doesn't want anyone hurt except the jurors. Ross looks up Tony's address in the phone booth phonebook and tells Moran that he'll be in touch with him soon.
Once Ross hangs up and goes to his truck where Jerry is waiting, Jerry suggests that they should get on a plane and take off because of Tony's interference. Ross insists that it's a "learning experience" and wants to know he can depends on Jerry. Jerry assures him that he can and says that he has Tony's address.
That night, a nervous Moran calls Tony at the Castle. Dominick takes the calls and brings it over to Tony, who is sitting in the audience with Linda. Jerry is at the bar, secretly watching them. Moran tells Tony that there's something he needs to tell him, and he thinks telling Tony first would help him a great deal. He asks Tony to come by, and Tony agrees. Tony agrees, and once Moran hangs up, Ross comes in, says that he knocked out Pike. Moran says that he'll pay off Ross and the job is done, but the hitman says that he overheard that Tony is coming over, and thanks Moran for saving him an extra drive. Ross then kill Moran with an arrow.
Ross then calls Jerry at the Castle, and has him called to the phone. Jerry recognized Linda from the campsite, and tells Ross that she was talking with Tony. Ross tells Jerry to charm Linda while he meets with Tony, and Jerry goes over and joins Linda. Jerry tells Linda that he's been a fan of Tony's for years, and Linda says that she knows Tony.
Tony goes to Moran's penthouse and discovers that the lights are out. When he goes in anyway, Ross turns on a desk light to spotlight Tony, and tells Tony to close the door. Once Tony does so, Ross explains Moran's scheme and says that he's going to continue killing jurors to maintain his reputation. Tony produces one of his throwing cards and throws it, knocking out the light. Ross fires his arrow and goes over, and Tony kicks him out the door, then closes it just as Ross shoots a second arrow before running off.
Later, Tony calls Linda at his penthouse, from Moran's penthouse. She has already heard about Moran's death on the news, and Tony tells her that Ross plans to kill another man. He says that he's going to have to tell Gold about her, and a disgusted Linda hangs up. Tony then takes a cup of coffee from Gold, and Gold says that he needs to know who Tony's source of information is so he can protect the other jurors. Tony tells him that Linda has no connection to the case but she's a psychic, and explains the vision Linda had of her death while she was near a cop.
The next day, Jerry tells Ross he did find out from Linda that she's a psychic. They're watching Linda, and she drives past them, and the two killers follow her.
Tony calls Dominick, who says that Linda slipped out. Tony figures that she went home, and tells Dominick to call Gold and tell him to hold off while Tony heads to Linda's house.
Linda goes home and packs, and Jerry and Ross watch her house from nearby. Jerry figures that Linda is the least of their problems and they should leave town, but Ross figures that Linda can lead the police to him no matter where he goes. Ross says that Jerry is his biggest problem, and that he's a good archer but has too many hang-ups.
Linda's TV is tuned to a police show, and when she sees a cop on the screen, she realizes that it was the one in her vision. Ross fires an arrow through the window and misses as Linda runs outside and goes to her car. She discovers that Ross has shot out the tires, and as Ross steps out she runs for the beach.
Tony pulls up at the house and finds the car with the tires shot out, and goes into the house.
Ross toys with Linda, pinning one of her shoes to the beach. She kicks it off and keeps running, and Tony sees them. He runs to Linda's hang glider and flies it down, slamming into Ross and knocking him out. After landing, Tony runs over and confirms that Linda is okay.
That night at the Castle, Tony and Linda are in the audience. Linda apologizes for running out and getting angry with Tony, and he assures her that no apologies are necessary. Dominick is seated at the bar nearby and shakes his head at Linda, who sees him. Tony asks what it's all about, and she says that Dominick wanted her to tell him if she had any visions about how Tony does his tricks, to tell him.
