The mask that Tubbs receives at the hotel is not the mask he wears to the party.
In the ending montage the positions of the two main characters (and the helm) in the boat switch back and forth from starboard to port.
When Tubbs first sees Calderone on his yacht through the binoculars, he hands the binoculars to Crockett, who takes a look himself, and somehow gets a far closer view -- despite the fact he is standing right beside Tubbs and looking through the same pair of binoculars.
Just before Crockett "parks" the rental car in the harbor, the beige sedan full of henchmen rams it from the side. The impact damages the front of the villains' car, buckling the grille and hood, yet in the next shot of it ploughing into the market stall, this damage is gone.
When Tubbs and Angelina are about to have their love scene there is a shot where she disrobes and the robe falls to the floor. We see her toenails are painted maroon. During the love scene her hand is seen caressing his chest and her fingernails are long, and painted maroon. When the love scene is over, the camera slowly pans from her feet up to the actor's faces. Her fingernails are much shorter, and both her fingernails and toenails are painted silver.
On the return journey back to Miami in Crockett's speedboat, several shots show Crockett driving the boat from the left-hand side, with Tubbs sitting on the right. The Stinger's control console is on the right-hand side; evidently these shots have been flipped.
The explosion of the car used by Detectives Crockett and Tubbs is unconvincingly done. Further, such an explosion would be highly unlikely since there is nothing explosive above the water when the henchmen were shooting at it.
The opening credits introduce Edward James Olmos as the new Lt. Castillo, but was not included in the final edit of the episode.
As the camera fades in on Angelina reading to her students, the movement of her lips obviously does not match what she is saying.
In the scene where Tubbs is driving to Angelina's house, you can see the shadow of the helicopter from where the scene was filmed against the cliffs near the shore.
Road traffic in The Bahamas drives on the left (as it is a former British colony), yet the episode depicts traffic driving on the right. The episode was filmed in the U.S. Virgin Islands, explaining the discrepancy.
When the Bahamian police chief talks to Crockett and Tubbs, the police car he is seen in is not actually a Bahamian police vehicle. It belongs to the U.S. Virgin Island Police Department, as is evidenced by the decal on the door; displaying both U.S. and U.S. Virgin Island flags.
The American flag can be seen flying above "The Bahamas".
