Jeanette Nolan returns for her second role on the show, having earlier played hey Sicilian grandmother. Now she's a Scottish nanny, basically hired by Herb and Roger to keep Kay and Eve away from the newborn twins. But when she doesn't allow the parents to go near the baby other than feeding time, the whole family comes together to get rid of her. Kay goes from her Italian accent to a Scottish accent to mimick her and is very funny. However, when they dress up as a Scottish band and confirm a number to make Nanny Nolan feel homesick, all they do is make her feel the more welcome. The whole thing is a bit cheesy but funny in spots over the little bit of "Brigadoon" goes an awful long way. This show needs a good soak with some Irish Spring.

The family hires a nanny

Jerry and Suzie are so overwhelmed by the twins, their fathers hire a nanny to help out.
An amusing episode with Jeannette Nolan guest starring. She plays the Scottish nanny Annie McTaggert, this shows her versatility, she previously guest starred in an earlier episode as Kaye's Italian grandmother. Eve and Kaye want to get rid of this bossy nanny since they never get to hold their grandchildren when she's around. There is a good musical sequence designed to make Annie homesick, the family is decked out with kilts and bagpipes and sing Loch Lomond and do some Scottish dances.
