Senor Del Gado Is Back Again
Jimmy_the_Gent419 August 2018
The matador Del Gado is making a movie and families want to be in it.

Desi Arnaz returns to act and direct this episode. His bug eyed reactions are as funny as ever. Desi Jr also shows up in a cameo part. Funniest scene is Eve and Kaye in a camel suit while Desi sings The Sheik Of Araby.

No way to make a movie.

Warning: Spoilers
The return of Rafael Del Gado (Desi Arnaz) has him making a desert adventure musical that would have been dated in 1948 let alone 1968. It's also the return of Desi Jr., playing a completely different character than he did in the first season. Out of gratitude, he casts the Hubbards and Buells in major parts, his first mistake. As clumsy on the movie set as they are in real life, everybody causes unintentional disaster, and Kay and Eve mess it up even more, first as dancing harem girls and later in a second appearance in a silly camel costume. Not much other than that to advance the plot, although a lot of the first quarter deals with the overabundance of baby presents. Still moderately funny, but typical 60's sitcom fluff.
