Steve Allen Jr. was the contestant immediately before celebrity guest Steve Allen Sr. Steve Jr. remained at the moderator's desk and sat on his father's lap. In an ad lib, panelist Meredith Willson rose and lent Steve Jr. his glasses so that Steve Jr. would look more like his famous, bespectacled father.
The contestants were: Mr. John DILLINGER (same name as the outlaw), Master Steve ALLEN (who turned out to be the young son of the actual Steve ALLEN) and Mr. A. MUSCLE. In the celebrity ''I'd Like to Be'' segment, the actual TV personality Steve ALLEN wished he was cowboy star/singer Gene AUTRY.
