There are two events going on here. First of all, the Stratford Inn went down a maple leaf in the Vermont Travel Guide (or so she thought). Joanna becomes a tyrant, making everyone work their butts off trying to wax and clean and repair things. She is obsessed. The second is Larry's efforts to get his GED because he never finished high school. He needs Dick to tutor him so the Darryls won't mock him any more. Larry says they are relentless in their continuing sarcasm. But Larry proves to be one of those people who have different learning styles. The was a little less fun than most of these episodes.

Larry the high school graduate

Larry wants to get his high school equivalency diploma with help from Dick.
A good episode with funny scenes of Dick having a "conversation" with the Darryls without Larry. We also see Larry taking his exam "Jeopardy" style. In addition there is a subplot of Joanna upset over the inn only getting a 2 Maple Leaf rating in the Vermont Tour Guide (it used to have 3). An interesting moment is Tom Poston getting an ovation from the audience on his entrance.
