It's the Christmas season. Herby tries to get a kiss from Billie Jo by continually standing under mistletoe. Floyd is more forgetful than usual because of the pressure associated with getting Christmas just right. And Uncle Joe and Charley argue about which of the two is to play Santa Claus this year. Among the many Christmas chores they will all have to attend to is decorating the Cannonball for the caroling and present delivery runs. This chore and its raison d'etre are threatened by the arrival of Homer Bedloe, who states that the decorations and the Christmas runs are against C&FW policy. What Bedloe ends up doing is issuing a seizure order of the Cannonball, which not only means not having the Christmas runs, but shutting down the Cannonball for good. The only person who can stop Bedloe is Norman Curtis, who had no idea of Bedloe's plans. Will Curtis catch wind of Bedloe's scheme in time to save Christmas for Hooterville residents?
