Starting with this episode, the series moved into color, which adds to the enjoyment of watching the show. Mom and Dad are persuaded to appear in a talent show of parents, to perform at the local public school.
It is a simple, pleasant premise, which gives Pat Crowley and Mark Miller a chance to display some of their ability with dancing and physical comedy. They do make a handsome couple in the series! I like it that the nice dog is given something to do. All the four boys are likeable.
I think this episode was filmed entirely on a sound stage, but that does not detract at all from it. The two stars are so lively and charming, they carry the episode with ease.
