- This Christmas episode is the show's take on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. It's the last day before Christmas and everyone is feeling the Christmas spirit. Everyone, except for Nicole, who hates Christmas with passion ever since her best friend and mentor Marley Jacob died from anorexia on Christmas, a year before. Nicole was just a book nerd back then but the death of her friend changed her completely and she decided to immediately take over Marley's position of the school's queen bee. The gang is invited to Christmas family dinner at Sam and Brooke's place and even April Tuna's geeks are welcomed. Meanwhile, Nicole becomes meaner than ever and teases Carmen, who now walks on crutches. She has broken her ankle while practicing for the Glamazons hoping that they'll let her try out for them again soon. Competitive Nicole then steals money from the blind Principal Hall's charity box to fill up her own charity box. Later, she humiliates Ms. Glass, who took up a second job as a beauty shop clerk, which leads to her being fired. Nicole even refuses to go to Sam and Brooke's party. On the Christmas Eve, Nicole is visited by the damned spirit of her friend Marley as well as three other spirits - the ghost of Christmas past (who turns out to be Ms. Glass), the ghost of Christmas present (who turns out to be Mary Cherry) and the spooky ghost of Christmas future. (who remains masked but seems to be Death or the Grim Reaper). Can all these spirits change Nicole's view on Christmas as well life in general at least for this one special day?
