Harrison John, played by Christopher Gorham, is in the hospital's terminal ward, weakened by his fight against leukemia. As such, he is unable to rise from his wheelchair. The climactic scene at the end sees his triumphantly rising after being inspired. Problem is, at several times prior to this - and not counting his visions - he was shown as being able to get around at will. Among them, early on, getting up to take a look when his friend Clarence didn't respond, and most revealing, nimbly swinging his legs off the hospital balcony after deciding against committing suicide anymore. This ruins the intended effect.
