Warning: Spoilers
This episode is completely lame for the following reasons:

1. It is *IMPOSSIBLE* for a flyer to perform alone. There *MUST* be another flyer to catch the bar, and then release it at the correct moment for the flyer to return to the platform; if not, the bar will swing wildly and not have the correct momentum. They also need someone to pull out the riser (the bar Eva stands on to get extra height needed to complete the trick); if not, the flyer is liable to smack into it and throw of their timing. Finally, someone needs to hold the ladder taut at the bottom or the flyer will swing freely while trying to climb up to the platform.

2. Eva was not doing triples (triple somersaults) during her solo practice. At best, she was doing doubles, but probably one-and-a-halfs (one and a half somersaults; the flyer is caught by their feet rather than their hands). She needs more height and a faster tuck to do all three revolutions in time for the catcher to catch her.

3. It is inconceivable that a flyer would claim to be able to do a triple when he/she has never successfully done one. It is unlikely that a troupe member would go against the leader, especially when it is child against a parent.

4. In the United States, trapeze acts are required to use a net, although I'm not certain how long ago that law was passed. It is stupidly dangerous for Eva to remove the net when (1) she had never successfully caught the triple, and (2) she fell out of the net during each of her practice sessions with the catcher.

5. There is no way an untrained person can learn to catch in only two sessions, but I will chalk that up to muscle memory of the person that Sam leapt into.
