El hombre bravo
bkoganbing5 August 2017
Leaving Clint Eastwood in charge of the herd, Eric Fleming and James Murdock are bringing back a prize breeding bull when they run into both some Federales headed by Henry Corden and and revolutionaries headed by Malachi Throne in old Mexico. Then they run into a bunch of children led by schoolteacher Frank Silvera who is trying to get his little brood across the border to a mission out of harm's way.

But when Gil Favor and Mushy agree to help little do they realize that Silvera is the creator of the mythical El Hombre Bravo a kind of Paul Bunyan type character to inspire the populace. Silvera does not exactly live up to the myth he has created.

Silvera really steals this episode as the meek school teacher who in the end shows he has the right stuff for a hero.
