  [Pete does some quick manouvering and the tables are turned in his favour] 

  Pete Nolan : And you find some of the rest of us get excited about horse thieves.

• Arvid Lacey : You gonna shoot yourself some Comanches?

  Porteous : I can't understand why the Comanches are attacking this house.

  Arvid Lacey : Well, I'll tell you. We stole some of their horses and killed some of their braves doing it.

  Porteous : Yes, I thought it might be something like that.

  Arvid Lacey : Now, Preacher, don't you get proud.

  Porteous : I'll not use this gun against Indians.

  Arvid Lacey : What do you want it for?

  Porteous : For afterwards, Mr Lacey, for afterwards.

  Arvid Lacey : Which Lacey they get.

  Clara Lacey : They don't want Brad.
