Gil Favor : What do you want from me?

Carlie Evans : Couldn't you just say Ralph isn't here when the men from Huntsville come after him?

Gil Favor : Thank you, Mr Stockton.
Gil Favor : A man steals for a lot of reasons.

Ralph Bartlet : Mine had blue eyes and red hair.

Gil Favor : I know what you mean.
Ralph Bartlet : Mr Favor, do you roll your own?

Gil Favor : Like most of us.

Ralph Bartlet : You got a pouch of tobacco on you? Look at the name on the tag!
Ralph Bartlet : I wish you luck, Carlie. 'Bye.

Gil Favor : Say, you look to be burning with fever. Wish? Look at his eyes. That skin. I bet that arm's infected. BADLY infected. I wonder that you had the strength to ride out here. Right, Wish?

Wishbone : Yes, you're just oozing with poison.

Carlie Evans : Well, how bad?

Gil Favor : I guess Wishbone could pull him through. The trouble is we gotta get the herd moving. Guess we'll have to take him along with us.

Carlie Evans : Well, I'll help, do all I can.
