Helen's Surprise Party
JordanThomasHall18 September 2020
Stanley and Helen have an argument over her feeling he takes her for granted. Stanley decides to throw her a surprise party and phones his former tenants Jack, Janet, and Chrissy to come. Chrissy also offers for her and Janet to give Stanley dancing lessons, and to keep them a secret from Helen. Jeffrey secretly sees Chrissy coming over to hug Stanley. Janet jogs the eight-mile difference and is sweaty and washes her clothes in the Ropers apartment, forcing her to wear a towel. Jeffrey comically misinterprets Stanley holding an orgy with Chrissy and Janet. He rushes out in his boxers to tell Helen what is going on, hilariously saying things that makes her thing he is coming onto her. Stanley has Jack hide the food for the party at the Brookes, where Jeffrey walks in to find Jack in an innocently compromising position with Anne. As the party nears, Helen is missing.

The lone episode featuring Jack, Janet, and Chrissy is unsurprisingly the funniest of the series.

Funniest Three's Co episode

Warning: Spoilers
This can be seen as both an episode of Three's Company and the Ropers. In syndication, it's shown as an episode of Three's Company but it's really an episode of The Ropers.

There's no doubt in the fact that the only episode from the Ropers' spin-off to feature Jack, Janet, and Chrissy would be the funniest of the bunch. To me, it's the funniest of all Three's Company-related episodes.

Roper decides to throw a surprise party for Helen to show her some appreciation and invites his former tenants over to help. Brookes, unbeknownst of Roper's party plans and watching outside the Ropers' window, misinterprets Roper dancing with Chrissy and Janet, dressed only in a towel, as an orgy. Further misunderstandings arise. The greatest kick is seeing Brookes mistake Jack as a delivery boy who Anne began an affair with.

This episode makes me laugh so hard every time I watch it. Seriously one of the best Three's Co episodes.
