It is Dan's birthday and his family and friends prepared a surprise party for him. But Roseanne also has her PMS and this presents a lot of challenges for Dan.
The episode just keeps on having the running joke about Roseanne having PMS. And it is the usual exaggerated one, although best jokes usually are about exaggerating real life situations. Still Dan's fear was more annoying then anything.
But it did bring a few great moments. I loved the part where Crystal thought Dan was 40 and Roseanne breaks a balloon and yells at Crystal for ruining Dan's birthday.
