This is the first episode I've seen of The Roy Rogers Show and, boy, what an old-fashioned, action-packed show it is! Rogers, Pat Brady, and Dale Evans are after an outlaw gang that the sheriff can't handle because of an earlier injury. Dale helps a little when she disguises herself as a Mexican peasant in order to be held up by the leader, Les Hannon. You can probably predict what happens from there. Made in the days when most dramas were still 30 minutes, the action never lets up except for some expository dialogue occasionally and some comic relief from Brady. Husband-and-wife team Rogers and Evans are perfectly wonderful and Roger's horse Trigger is ever loyal. If you love good old-fashioned good guy/bad guy shoot-'em-ups, this show's for you! Airs on Family Net late night Monday. Check local listings.

Don't Live in Dead Men's Hills

Dead Men's Hills is the name of a town. Roy, Dale, and Pat go there to help a wounded sheriff capture a notorious outlaw gang. There is a siege when the posse corners the gang in the town. Later, Dale drives a wagon disguised as a Mexican woman. A lot of fast non-stop action and stunt work in this one away from Mineral City.
