Outlaws murder prospector Joe Denton (Hank Patterson) but are unable to locate his map showing the location of his mine. Outlaw leader Bill Bedford (Fred Graham) claims title to the mining claim. Roy tries to disprove Bedford's claim, But Bedford gets the best of Roy for nearly the entire episode. He even has Roy and Pat arrested for violating a restraining order he filed with the sheriff, who is his usual incompetent self. I don't consider this one of the better episodes, because Roy violates the law in his quest to find out the truth. Not a good lesson for kids. Fred Graham plays Bedford. He was one of the best stunt fighters in Hollywood. He often doubled John Wayne. This is a watchable, if not one of the better episodes.
