The Roy Rogers Show: Ride of the Ranchers is another good old-fashioned western episode
tavm11 October 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Don Jose, who traditionally leads The Ride of the Ranchers, has disappeared. His house is held hostage by a gang of outlaws wanting to get his strongbox. While Roy looks for Jose, Dale and the house's women keep guard trying to keep the outlaws at bay. When it is all over, Jose breaks tradition and lets women in The Ride of the Ranchers for the first time. He also includes Pat Brady's jeep Nellybelle in the celebration as well! As usual, an action packed episode guaranteed to keep eyes open for 30 minutes. Should be fun for anyone who loves old-fashioned TV westerns with some comic relief on the side. As Roy and Dale sing every week, "Happy trails to you, till we meet again."

Ride Dale Ride!

Dale takes center stage in this episode. Wealthy rancher Don Jose sponsors an annual parade through Mineral City of all the Paradise Valley ranchers. It's the perfect opportunity for an a outlaw gang to raid and loot Don Jose's ranch. But Dale organizes the women of the ranch to defend the house and these gals shoot pretty straight! Dale and Bullet then slip out to ride to town and bring back the ranchers. But a couple of outlaws give chase. Can she ride hard and fast enough to outdistance them? Veteran stuntman and double Fred Graham is the outlaw leader. He doubled and stunted for John Wayne at Republic Studios. Fred was in seven Roy Rogers Show episodes and so is a familiar face to RR fans.
