Bernard Northrop is the son of a well known minister who is coming to Mineral City. Bernard has arrived about a week before his father and is welcomed by Roy, Pat, and Dale. However, Northrop is actually a federal treasury agent tracking down some counterfeit money that has shown up in Mineral City. The real Bernard let him use his identity. Old Mike Leslie is a drunk who passes Dale a phony $20 bill. He is the only lead to the gang of counterfeiters. Can Roy and his pals follow that lead to the head of the gang of funny money makers? A nice scene early in the episode involves some kids having a mock wedding in the schoolyard at recess. Keith Richards makes the first of his five RR appearances as the government agent.
