While filming the scene where Daisy bangs on the upstairs window to get Colin's attention, Nick Frost noticed that Ada the dog didn't look at the window, she just looked directly behind her. This led him to theorize that dogs can't look upwards, a theory that amused Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg so much that they wrote it into the script of Shaun of the Dead (2004).
The dialogue between the realtor and the couple looking at the flat is identical to the dialogue between Tim, Daisy, and Marsha when they look at the flat in the first episode.
