The shooting in the opening scene takes second-place to the "troubled students" and the bad school system in this story. Teacher "Leopold Summers", played by actor Maurice Evans, is Shakespearean, stern, and quite dramatic. He carries the show.
"School of Fear" is watchable, but keeping four people chained to desks for several days is a bit of a stretch. The writers manage to throw in a line about "personal hygiene" to explain away any restroom questions.
Entertaining, some action, mostly drama, and you know how it will end. Six stars is the best I can do on this one.
