When Meadows sets off from his house in his Rolls Royce, driven by his chauffeur, we see a shot of the car from behind, about to overtake a bright yellow Daf and a pale blue Austin Maxi. There then follows a 15-second scene in which Meadows asks his chauffeur to buy a present. Following this, we again see the Rolls from behind and it has only just gone past the Daf and the Maxi - insufficient gap has been left between the two shots of the Rolls for the intervening scene inside the car.
When Regan and Carter are sitting in a van keeping Meadows' house under surveillance, they while away the time playing Mastermind in which one person creates a concealed pattern of coloured pegs and the other person repeatedly tries to deduce the pattern based on feedback about the number of pegs that they have guessed correctly. The pattern of pegs in the wide shots during the game does not match the close-up of the board when Regan later reveals his hidden code.
When Dougie Owen is supposed to be taking impressions of two keys in some Plasticine, he does so by pressing them end first into the Plasticine. This would not work, the impressions have to be taken by pressing them sideways.
The expandable steel baton that Owen uses against the two heavies, bends when he hits one of them with it and in the next shot is clearly made of rubber.
