- Joey Stickley, Regan's informant, is greedy but generally reliable. With Haskins in Toronto, his stand-in, Quirk, is obsessed with catching the 'Post Office Gang' and his grass tells him they are about to rob a jeweller's shop. Carter goes undercover as a driver and meets Stickley, one of the gang, on the dummy run, but, come the actual robbery, Stickley has been replaced by Quirk's informant, to whom he has fed wrong information, in order to settle an old score with Quirk. As a consequence, the police operation is a failure.—don @ minifie-1
