Marino is set to write an article about heroic cop Grauer, who took down the man who killed his partner, but it turns out Grauer is a crooked cop, and on the take, Marino learns that Grauer was just a cog in a rotten machinery.
I'd say it's a solid end to the series, if somewhat unremarkable, I can't help feeling it would have worked better if they'd concluded the show with the previous episode, or the two part story, both were a lot more dramatic. A shame Marino didn't sign the show off with a speech.
It's a good story, with some interesting characters, and what I applaud most of all, is seeing Grauer's journey, we see an ordinary man, who wants to do good taken down a path, a golden carrot dangled in front of him that he simply couldn't resist.
I've enjoyed this series very much, at times it was way ahead of the competition, it's a solid end to what is hopefully a well remembered show.
7/10.
