- The Leader: It is time. Come to me, Elizabeth.
- Philip: In real combat, those swords would've been charged with nuclear disintegrators. Slightest touch of the body would mean instant death.
- Mike Donovan: Hmm. That would take the fun out it, wouldn't it?
- Philip: Interesting perspective. Care to try it sometime?
- Mike Donovan: With uncharged weapons?
- Philip: Of course. I should warn you, though, I'm pretty good. Been trained by a venerated master.
- Mike Donovan: Well, I've watched all the old Errol Flynn movies.
- Philip: Well then, should be an even match.
- Diana: Well, Lydia, this time, you've overstepped the bounds of even your ego. I demand an explanation for this cowardly withdrawal.
- Lydia: Actually, I'm not the person you should speaking to. I'm merely following orders.
- Philip: I was the one who issued the troop recall, Diana.
- Diana: Under whose authority, may I ask?
- Philip: The leader's. He's declared that all hostilities be immediately terminated.
- Lt. James: Why? When we're so close to victory?
- Philip: Apparently, lieutenant, the reports of your success have somehow become overly exaggerated.
- Diana: I can't imagine how.
- Lydia: Oh, I can.
- Philip: Regardless, the war is over. The leader himself is due to arrive here to take personal charge of the peace negotiations.
- Diana: Peace negotiations? You engineered this, didn't you? You're a traitor, just like your brother Martin.
- Philip: We both know that's a lie, Diana. Fortunately, the leader knows it as well. The truth is, Diana, the leader's lost confidence in you. Your voice will no longer be heard.
- Dr. Julie Parrish: It's no use, Mike. It's a dead end, that's a solid brick wall.
- Mike Donovan: Okay, we'll blow it.
- Kyle Bates: With what, the grenades we don't have?
- Elizabeth Maxwell: My mind is full of strange and unexplicable images, the names and configurations of galaxies I've never seen. The sounds and furies of ancient battles and mystic rites live in my dreams.
- Philip: And all of this disturbs you, naturally.
- Elizabeth Maxwell: And these feelings, so intense, so violent, they torture me. And I cannot explain them.
- Philip: Elizabeth, now more than ever, you must remain strong. You are the star child. The bringer of peace, and the unifier of cultures. What you are experiencing, Elizabeth, is the racial memory of one strain of your ancestry, ours. It's time you were introduced to yourself, Elizabeth.
- Elizabeth Maxwell: Then you will teach me. Now.
- Philip: The history begins many cycles and sequences ago in Sonavbow.
- Philip: This time you've gone too far, Diana. This is mutiny.
- Diana: Call it whatever you like. But before you attempt to override my authority, be sure that your forces are willing to listen to the orders of a commander whose friends assassinated our leader.
- Philip: You'll never get away with this, Diana.
- Diana: I already have, you fool. The one mistake you made was growing soft inside. For that, you'll pay. Take them somewhere where they don't be dangerous to anyone else, or to themselves. Prepare them for permanent orbit around an asteroid of your choice. Farewell, my friends.
- [last lines of the show, as they watch the shuttle take fly off]
- Mike Donovan: I hope we did the right thing.
- Dr. Julie Parrish: We did. I can feel it. She may find peace and happiness. Who knows? Maybe we all will.
- Mike Donovan: Wait a minute. Where's Kyle?
- Willie: Well, he was here a moment ago.
- Mike Donovan: You don't think he...
- Dr. Julie Parrish: He stowed away.
- Philip: I take it you know these people.
- Diana: Intimately.
- Lydia: Skilled fighters, all.
- Diana: Yes, it's almost a pity that we won't meet in combat again.
- Dr. Julie Parrish: Why Diana, I didn't know that you could feel pity. Maybe things are changing.
- Diana: I meant no disrespect. After all, if it weren't for the armistice, how else would I get the legendary Donovan in my grasp...
- [shakes Mike's hand]
- Willie: This is a human custom that you will just have to get used to.
- [kisses her]
- Thelma: What is it?
- Willie: Kiss.
- Thelma: 'Kiss'. I think I will like it very much on Earth.
- Willie: If we make it, if we live through this, I want you to be my wife.
- Thelma: We'll make it, Willie. I know we will, even if I have to stop Diana myself!
- Mike Donovan: What's going on?
- Kyle Bates: They're messing with her mind.
- Willie: No. She is receiving a message.
- Mike Donovan: What kind of message?
- Willie: From the leader. It is his manner to contact anyone, anytime, at any distance.
- Kyle Bates: That's crazy.
- Willie: Kyle, she is also one of us.
- Elizabeth Maxwell: Kyle, you've taught me a lot about Earth love. But let me teach you about true love.
- Kyle Bates: That's not what I meant.
- Elizabeth Maxwell: I understand more than you know. Your Earth love is good and warm, but you only know love as it is tied to your bodies. In the cosmos, there is a greater love, for there are no bodies.
- Kyle Bates: I won't let you go.
- Mike Donovan: Nothin'. We're not gettin' any place. We need something with more power.
- Philip: We have nothing else. We gotta blow that door. We've gotta get into the master control room. It's the heart of the mother ship.
- Dr. Julie Parrish: But Diana has the ship sealed off. Philip, what are we gonna do?
- Philip: There's nothing more we can do, to save the leader or Earth.
- Willie: Wait! There is something.
- Mike Donovan: Willie, what? Anything.
- Willie: [holding a mantle] This. She is the star child. If the leader designed all this, and he can communicate through her, then...
- Philip: Then he can use her to undo all of this.
- Philip: As soon as the leader's gone, they'll be taken back.
- Mike Donovan: For a trial?
- Philip: Yes. Our justice is quicker than yours, but just as lasting. My brother was a wise man choosing to trust you, Donovan.
- Mike Donovan: Well, he was my friend, as you are.
- Philip: You've got a great planet here, Mike. You fought valiantly to save it. Don't misuse it.
- Mike Donovan: We'll do our best. Thanks again.
- Philip: If these swords had been charged, the energy emanating from the tips would burn right through your outer tissue.
- Mike Donovan: Not a pretty picture.
