The unit located just below the CRT screen on Alpha's control panel is an EICO model 377 Sine/Square wave audio generator used by electronic hobbyists and technicians to service audio and high fidelity gear. These were sold as kits by the Electronic Instrument Corp. of New York.
There is a play written by Agustin Cuzzani, an Argentine writer, called, "That forward center died at dawn". It is the story of a man who collects as precious objects the most remarkablly known persons: the best ballet dancer, an important general, the best soccer player among others to keep them for his own. The trouble begins when the soccer player falls in love with the ballet dancer and try to escape from his domination. Argentine movie was adapted from the book and filmed in 1962.
