William Tell is the unwelcome stranger. He has gone to a village where a man he sent to find out why the village is no longer sending swords to the resistance has disappeared.
The village of Linzon are famous for its swords. However Tell is looked on with suspicion.
The local Burgermeister is rather untrustworthy and Tell sees through him. Especially as he tries to get rid of Tell to a market town.
Tell comes back and stands up to a local bully and later an assassination attempt.
With Derren Nesbitt as the Burgermeister, you just know Tell needs to watch his back. Greed is what has kept the arms from flowing to the resistance and gone to the Austrians instead.
A simple story with some bits of action. It is very much a solo outing for Tell without his band of men.
