Antonio, dressed as a religious Jew, references a number of phrases from this movie. First, "I'm a poor out of work cab driver," is similar to Motel the Tailor's line about being a "poor tailor." Then he says "even if I were a rich man" which references the song "If I Were a Rich Man." Finally, he says "on the one hand . . . on the other hand" which was a regular trope of Tevye's.
