In a hazy mood, Jack doggedly works on the cry for help from a young man who witnessed from a rooftop how old John Michaels first prepared to jump to his death, then climbed down to be possibly dragged into a black car. The man, a recovered alcoholic, recently made desperate attempts to make up with, and tried to compensate by testament, his ex and their daughters, a bitter lawyer and a self-destructive stripper coming to a bloody end. The FBO colleagues duly doubt all Jack's claims, all comes together but not as what it seemed.
