What a Lovely Episode

Warning: Spoilers
Not only does the episode feature Santa Claus, but Santa reminds everyone of the true meaning of Christmas.

This time Zorro doesn't save the day. Santa saves himself. No jail can hold Santa. But everyone gets into the spirit of trying to save Santa, which is an excellent example of faith: acting on belief.

It even snows at the end of the episode, thanks to Santa.

The letter Sgt. Mendoza, as a kid, sent Santa is heart warming. He didn't want gifts "next Christmas". Instead, he asked Santa to make sure all the poor people in the pueblo had enough to eat. "A Christmas plum pudding would be nice for each of them." The episode ends with that letter, just after Diego found a plum pudding left just inside the tavern door.
