In Dimitri's dealership Xavier (Johny Voners) and Doortje (Ann Tuts) rehearse on an instrumental version of "Tango d'amore" by the Italo-Belgian singer-songwriter Rocco Granata released in the summer of 1962. Of course the title derives its name from the song.
The title was picked by Ann Tuts (Doortje) and Ben Rottiers (Pol) as one out five titles for their personal 2007 compilation DVD and Blue-ray release of "Kampioen der Kampioenen" (translation: "Champion of Champions"). The four other titles are Carmen zwanger (1997), Doortje Waterslaeghers (1999), Bomeo en Julia (2000) and Pol in de put (2004). This one merely concerns Tuts as she stars alongside her first husband Walter Michiels (Pico).
