Chip realizes his dog might not be real smart but he is more of a friend than any human. It starts when his so called friend starts bragging about his new dog and calls Tramp stupid. That kid wasn't very smart because you don't insult your friend. That little kid wasn't taught much about manners and should have been reprimanded. The other children showing their show dogs dancing was just filler.

Anyway the part that makes no sense is why Bub goes out letting the boys wash the dishes and tells them to turn the stove off. Why is the stove on with hot grease? Time passes and we see everyone in bed. Huh? What? Steve, Bub and Mike all have come home and no one smells the grease sizzling. Bub sleeps off the kitchen and doesn't check the stove? Totally unbelievable and wouldn't happen in a lifetime. Fire starts and Tramp is the only one to wake everyone up but the grease never dries up and the pan should have started to burn first.

It shows how the adults in the house aren't responsible enough to keep everyone safe. Instead of the stove left on the writers should have had Robbie's science project be more combustible, forget to put things away and have something ignite.

Tramp was smarter than all the humans or writers so only 3 stars.
